A MESSAGE FROM YOUR BEAT
MANAGER
I would like to take this
opportunity to introduce myself as your new beat manager. I
have been a police officer for ten years and have worked on
the Doncaster South Safer Neighbourhood Team for five of
those. I was previously your beat manager a couple of years
ago so I am familiar with the area although I am sure there
have been a few changes along the way.
I enjoy my role and I care
about the communities I work for and can assure you that I
will give yourselves 100 per cent commitment. I will be
happy to answer queries regarding the changes to the Safer
Neighbourhood Team at the next meeting I shall be attending.
Crime in and around the
village continues to be low at the minute, however we are
beginning to see a small rise in thefts of garden furniture
and hanging baskets. Naturally with the warm weather it is
tempting to leave windows and doors open but please be
mindful that it would take an opportunist seconds to take
advantage of this so please keep thinking security at all
times.
