Finningley & Branton Public Houses
In the centre of the village is the Harvey Arms providing food & drink. Old Bawtry Road, Finningley Have you tried eating at The Harvey arms recently? We had a meal off their early bird menu, at £4.95 and were very impressed. The meal arrived promptly, hot and very well presented. The liver and onions was very tender and not over cooked while the meat pie looked and tasted home made. I found the portion size just right for me and although my husband has a good appetite he didn't feel the need for a dessert. For those with a more demanding appetite the specials menu or the full menu provides a further varied selection at very reasonable prices. Go on give it a try. No "hyped "prices just good value for money. Go on –book now! Ring 770200 and tell them that you saw this on www.finningley.org
Just outside the village is The Station Hotel, this hotel has a number of rooms for rent on a bed & breakfast tariff. It also serves Pub Food lunch time to early evening. It is the home of the Tuesday general knowledge quiz written by a rota of local people. The quiz starts at 9:00pm. Click on this link for an example. Quiz. |
